Kenston wins scrimmage against Garfield Heights

It’s hard to gauge a team based on a scrimmage, but the Bombers defeated Garfield Heights 7-6 on Friday.

Nick Gardner scored the lone Bomber touchdown, and Pat Behm stopped a Garfield drive with an interception to seal the victory. Of course, beating a team in a scrimmage is not the same as beating a team in a regular season game.

The Bombers open up their season this Friday at Kent Roosevelt.

The Kenston High School Web site, as always, has plenty of shots from the scrimmage.
