An update on our football predictors

It’s time for an update on our predictors.

Our predictors didn’t predict the first week of the season, but, on average, they have been pretty accurate. Week 3 saw Sandra Klepach put on a clinic with a 9-1 record. The only miss she had was the Beachwood vs. Lincoln West game.

Week 4 of the season was by far the worst. No one did better than 4-4. Mayfield beating Solon was a bit of an upset. So was Aurora’s win over Perry. In addition, Chagrin Falls vs. West Geauga and Kenston vs. Beachwood were both difficult games to predict.

Week 5 saw Harold Crane and Stephanie Greenlaw tie with a 7-1 record. If you remember, Crane did very well in week 2 with a 9-1 record. He has been on top pretty much the entire time.

Greenlaw and Klepach are both well within striking distance and no one is too far behind to win this yet.

Here are the current standings from our predictors:

  • John McGrurer — (19-16-1)
  • Stephanie Greenlaw — (24-12)
  • Harold Crane — (26-10)
  • Joe Edelstein — (21-15)
  • Sandra Klepach — (24-12)
  • Jared Ward — (21-15)
  • Jack Hanhauser — (23-13)

[...] Our predictors have been good so far this season, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t better. [...]
